Dickinson Park

Dickinson Park is Newtown's first-ever recreation area, dedicated in 1955 to former First Selectman A. Fenn Dickinson. It was made possible by a generous gift from Mr. and Mrs. Bartram A. Stroock. It features five tennis courts, a softball field, basketball courts, two playgrounds, a pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grills, and even a skate park.
